What I’m wrestling with is choosing a podcast host. I want to get that in place and ready to go but the choices between a free hosting site and the paid sites can be difficult to navigate. I guess it may all come down to how much control of your podcast you may have to give up to go for free. Right now I’m leaning towards a paid hosting site LibSyn.
Oh and what about music clips and the such? Talk about a quagmire to get that figured out. You don’t want the copyrights police to come down on you. So at the same time I trying to finalize my decision for hosting my podcasts I’m trying to figure out where I get and use music without all those copyrights issues to deal with.

Google Adsense

Well I signed up for my Google Adsense account and while waiting for that approval I figured out a real easy way to get the adds placed by using the text widget. I still need to research a lot more about this Adsense like what are channels all about and units, etc. CLUELESS! But I’m having so much fun, it’s kinda like sticking your big toe into the water and before you know it you’re waist deep. The finger is out of the dike and a flood is a coming.

Current Status

Well I have been busy getting this together there is so much to do. I have pretty much settled on this WordPress theme, do you like it? I have so much to learn about WordPress and CMS. Oh Yeah Sorry… WordPress CMS (Content Management System) is the Publishing Platform that I’m using to create and manage this Website. We will get more into this in the future, just to say that WordPress is a very popular Blogging platform. We’ll get into Blogging in the future as well.
I have also commissioned an illustrator / artist / photographer to create a logo, what have you, that will be used on the home page.
As time goes on more and more content will show up as well as features. Feel free to comment or email your suggestions, tell me your likes and dislikes, are there topics you’re interested in that you would like covered.

Do I have plans to do ScreenCasts, YES
Don’t worry if there are terms here you don’t understand I’ll cover all of this in time.

The Beginning

Obviously this is a new venture. I’m working hard on getting everything ready and in place. Yes indeed the moniker says it all; I have many things to do like implementing a real structure for this site. Most importantly is figure out just how to get to this audience.
